【About Nikko Toshogu Shrine】

Nikko Toshogu Shrine is a shrine located in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. It is an important historical site built to enshrine Tokugawa Ieyasu. Completed in 1636, it subsequently became an object of worship for the Tokugawa shogunate. Due to its lavish decorations, carvings, and high level of architectural skill, it is also registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a valuable spot where you can experience traditional Japanese culture. When visiting, you can enjoy its beautiful architecture and nature while feeling the weight of history.

There are two types of tickets available for purchase: a single admission ticket to Toshogu Shrine and a combination ticket with the Toshogu Museum.

Adults: Single admission ticket: 1,600 yen / Combination ticket: 2,400 yen

Junior high school students: Single admission ticket: 550 yen / Combination ticket: 870 yen

Elementary school students: Single admission ticket: 550 yen / Combination ticket: 870 yen

★You need to exchange your admission ticket in advance at the Tobu Nikko Station Tourist Center. Direct exchange at Nikko Toshogu Shrine is not possible.★
