If you've come to the World Heritage site of Nikkō, why not enjoy some local experiences while you're here? How about creating original name tags using historic Nikkō woodcarving or leather from deer culled due to forest damage? *This course will be held from December to March.

*This is a group tour plan.

Nikko Carving Experience [4,200 yen, Minimum Participants 2]

[About the Nik Carving Experience]

[Experience Times] There are three sessions a day at 9:30, 14:00, and 15:00. Please complete your registration about 10 minutes before the start time. You can experience the traditional craft of "Nikko carving." Let's carve your favorite design into wood. Participation is available from two people. Since sharp tools are used, the age requirement is 10 years old (4th grade elementary school) and above.

Deer Leather Craft Experience [3,600 yen, Minimum Participants: 2]

[About the Deer Leather Craft Experience]

[Experience Times] There are four sessions a day at 9:00, 10:00, 14:30, and 15:30. Please complete your registration about 10 minutes before the start time. You can enjoy a craft experience using deer leather produced in Nikko. Using smooth and soft deer leather, why not create a one-of-a-kind original piece? Participation is available from two people.

*Note: A hammer will be used on the stamping sheet; therefore, when children participate in this experience, an adult must accompany them.

Both experiences come with a Tobu Bus Nikko World Heritage Tour Pass (valid for one full day) and a shopping voucher worth 1,000 yen that can be used at Nikko Castella Honpo.
